THE ZERO WASTE JOURNEY OF SCHOOL (A STEP TOWARDS MAKING SWACCH-HARIT NOIDA)
The Environment Club of Bal Bharati Public School Noida takes an initiative to bring awareness regarding the Climate Change . The Climate Action Campaign will throw light on the Sustainable Development Goals related to Climate crisis.
Let us join hands in this noble initiative.
TOGETHER WE CAN.....
The Environment Club of Bal Bharati Public School, Noida takes an initiative to bring awareness regarding the Sustainable Development Goal 06 : Clean Water and Sanitation.
Access to safe drinking water and good sanitation are vital for the well-being. Clean drinking water and good sanitation would not prevent infections without practicing good hygiene.
Water is life’s matter and matrix, mother and medium. Water is life.
Let's be aware and act.

Energy use is changing fast. The shift to renewable sources needs to happen faster, not just in power generation but in heating, buildings and transport, to check the rise in global temperatures. All this means speeding up innovation in business and technology for affordable and clean energy.
LET US PROMOTE RENEWABLE CLEAN ENERGY TO BUILD SUSTAINABLE INDIA.
In the series of Climate Action Campaign, the Environment Club of Bal Bharati Public School, Noida highlights the Sustainable Development Goal No.11 i.e Sustainable cities and communities.
The challenges faced by cities can be overcome in ways that allow them to continue to thrive and grow, while improving resource use and reducing pollution and poverty. The future we want includes cities of opportunities for all, with access to basic services, energy, housing and transportation.
Let us be the conscious citizens.
SDG 12
"Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's needs, but not every man's greed.” Mahatma Gandhi
The Environment Club of Bal Bharati Public School, Noida takes an initiative to create awareness on the Sustainable Goal no.12 i.e., Sustainable Consumption and Production. Worldwide consumption and production is a driving force of the global economy which rests on the use of the natural environment and resources in a way that continues to have destructive impacts on the planet. To control the climate change, we need to consume less to reduce our carbon foot prints.
Lets us all take conscious decisions to consume less to combat adverse climate change.
SDG 13CLIMATE ACTION
‘Climate change is a real and undeniable threat to our entire civilization’.
In the series of Climate Action Campaign, the Environment Club of Bal Bharati Public School, Noida marches ahead to bring in awareness on Sustainable Goal no.13 i.e. ‘Climate Action’. Doing nothing will end up costing us a lot more than if we take actions now that will lead to more jobs, greater prosperity, and better lives for all while reducing green- house gas emissions and building climate resilience.
Let us all be climate warriors and take urgent actions to combat climate change .

SDG 15 life on land
'Land and forests are the foundation of sustainable development.'
In continuation of empowering students about Sustainable Development Goals in Climate Action Campaign, the Environment club of Bal Bharati Public School Noida moves ahead with the SDG no.15 i.e., Life on Land. The SDG no.15 focuses on to protect the Earth's ecosystems, promote the sustainable management of forests, and put a stop to land degradation and biodiversity loss. This goal aims to conserve all forms of life on land, from humans through to every last insect.
Let us all join hands to be committed environment warriors to bring change in life on Earth.
SDG 14
‘Healthy oceans and seas are essential to our existence.’
To promote the awareness of Sustainable Goals under Climate Action Campaign, the Environment club of Bal Bharati Public School Noida leads to highlight SDG no.14 i.e. Life below Water. Our 70 % of our planet is covered by water and we rely on them for food, energy and water. Water reservoirs are damaged tremendously due to our actions. We must protect them by eliminating pollution and overfishing.
Responsibly we can manage and protect marine life.
SDG 17
‘Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
In the series of Climate Action Campaign the Environment Club of Bal Bharati Public School, Noida, culminates the Climate Action Campaign with its last but not the least Sustainable Development Goal no.17 ‘Partnerships for the Goals’. It refers to the need for cross sector and cross-country collaboration in pursuit of all the goals. It seeks to promote the international trade, and help the developing countries increase their exports to ensure a universal rules based and equitable trading system that is fair, open and beneficial to all.
It is time for us to introspect our role in building a better future. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals which serve as a charter for not just the government and people, but they are also as a guideline or the citizenry, for citizens are a nation’s most valuable asset.
Now let's ignite our minds to act .
Together we can and we will.

CLIMATE CHANGE CONVOCATION 2022
Dear Stakeholders,
Any event celebration without the use of balloon decoration appears to be incomplete. Every choice that we make has a direct effect on our environment. Balloons contribute to our plastic pollution problem. They could take hundreds of years to biodegrade. Over time, these balloons enter our food chain.
Let us prevent using balloons as a part of celebration and make an effort to use alternative biodegradable materials like cloth, paper and jute to decorate and celebrate moments of happiness and our choices to improve our environment.
Let us make our little efforts that can make a big difference to save our Environment.

COMMEMORATION OF WORLD ASTRONOMY DAY
DATE: 11 May, 2016
SESSION: Training Workshop –AIASC Campaign
VENUE: Manav Rachna International School
Radhin Laxman and Shubhankar Mohakud of class VII attended the workshop.
AIASC is one of our most prominent and much awaited projects and is conducted in collaboration with International Astronomical Search Collaboration (IASC, Hardin-Simmons University, Texas, USA). SPACE is the coordinator for this highly recognized programme in India.
Under this campaign, participants get exclusive access to images of the sky taken at observatories and analyze the data with specialized software provided during training to look for asteroids. Objects reported by students could be potential discoveries. All observations contribute to the Near Earth Object (NEO) data compiled by NASA and Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL). Students get the exciting opportunity to work with professional astronomers, get access to real astronomy data and are exposed to research in this field, all of which is usually only available to post graduate students.
SPACE conducted a one-time, half day workshop to facilitate the students to download the data and use the software Astronomica to successfully find asteroids. The highly specialized training helped convey the skills necessary for the students to analyze the astronomical data and make important observations.
AIASC Phase I will run from 27th June - 25th July 2016 for approximately a month, and during that time students can download and analyze the data by themselves on their computers from their homes or schools, and send the reports of their observation to the international coordinators and SPACE.
