National Reading Day 19th June 2023

To promote the habit of reading and to make people aware about the importance of reading books, National Reading Day is celebrated every year on June 19.

India celebrates National Reading Day in honour of P N Panicker, the father of the Library and Literacy movement in Kerala.

On National Reading Day, let us take a pledge to read to be enlightened ,as a mark of tribute to P N Panicker.
