REPORT ON THE CELEBRATION OF BHAGWAN BIRSA MUNDA’S BIRTH ANNIVERSARY
On 14th November 2024, Bal Bharati Public School Noida organized a series of activities to commemorate the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, a revered tribal leader and freedom fighter. The celebration aimed to honour his contributions to the nation and to educate students about his life and the cultural heritage of India.

Documentary Screening and Discussion
A documentary titled "Jana Jatiya Gaurav Diwas", highlighting the life and contributions of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, was screened for students from classes VI to XII. The session began with a brief introduction to his life, emphasizing his role as a leader who championed the rights of tribal communities. After the screening, an engaging discussion was held, where students shared their reflections and thoughts, deepening their understanding of his legacy.
Mask-Making Activity
For students of classes VI to VIII, a creative and educational mask-making activity was organized. This activity introduced students to the cultural significance of masks and headgear in the North Eastern states of India. It also aimed to foster an appreciation for the diversity and uniqueness of traditional attire and accessories in different Indian communities. The activity allowed students to explore and express their creativity while learning about the rich cultural heritage of India.
The event was a meaningful tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda and served as an educational platform for students to connect with history and cultural traditions.
