 Bal Bharati Public School, Noida, celebrated Handloom Day on 7 August 2024 with great enthusiasm, highlighting the rich heritage and cultural significance of handloom weaving in India. The event began with the screening of a special video message from the Honourable Prime Minister, emphasizing the importance of handlooms in India’s economy and the government's efforts to revive this traditional craft. The screening provided valuable insights into the lives of weavers and the economic impact of their work.

Following the video, an engaging quiz on various handlooms of India was conducted, covering diverse fabrics, weaving techniques, and the regions they originate from. Students participated actively, showcasing their knowledge and enthusiasm for traditional crafts. The quiz not only educated the students but also instilled a sense of pride in India’s rich handloom heritage.
