A dedicated biologist and educator, I am passionate about teaching beyond textbooks and fostering scientific inquiry. Recognized as an authority in Biology and Science Education, I have contributed to curriculum development and led evaluation processes at national levels.
As a Curriculum Committee Member, I played a key role in integrating agricultural education into school curricula(NIOS). I have conducted teacher training programs, guided school teams in national audits, and actively promoted innovation through Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) initiatives. My mentorship has supported national scholars in competitions like Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan and NTSE, and I have facilitated international collaborations for student enrichment.

Teaching, for me, has never been just about delivering lessons—it’s about building trust, fostering connections, and making a lasting impact. I see myself more as a facilitator than a traditional educator, creating an environment where students feel valued, heard, and inspired. The strongest testament to this is when former students reach out years later to share how even a small interaction in the classroom shaped their journey. That, to me, is my greatest achievement.
Theatre has always been a passion, and I have had the joy of co-directing English plays like Oliver Twist, My Fair Lady, and Barbie: the Musical as part of my school’s Dramatics Club. Storytelling is at the heart of everything I do—whether on stage or in the classroom—bringing lessons to life through narratives that keep students engaged and curious.
Beyond academics, I have contributed as the co-editor of the school magazine, Sagarika, channeling my love for writing. I have also been involved in proofreading and editing the NPSC Magazine and several other in-house school publications.
Public speaking has played a significant role in my journey—I have lent my voice to educational videos and modules, not just for my school but also as a freelancer for a renowned multinational company. हिंदी भाषा की अध्यापिका होने के नाते मेरी पूरी कोशिश रहती है कि वर्तमान पीढ़ी अपनी मातृभाषा, राष्ट्रीय भाषा को भली भाँति आत्मसात कर सकें। इसके लिए अपने शिक्षण को विभिन्न नवीन युक्तियों से समय-समय पर रुचिकर बनाते हुए मेरा प्रयास रहता है कि भाषा को वर्तमान संदर्भ एवं छात्रों के भविष्य से जोड़कर अध्ययन-अध्यापन किया जाए। इसके साथ ही छात्रों को अतिरिक्त पठन-पाठन की ओर जागरूक करने का प्रयास भी जारी रहता है। वे जितना पढ़ेंगे, उनकी रचनात्मकता उतनी ही निखरेगी। इन्हीं सब प्रयासों का परिणाम था कि वर्ष 2019 में दसवीं कक्षा की मेरी छात्रा अंकिता वर्मा की कविता ‘बेटी’ इंटरनेट पर विश्व की सबसे पहली ऑनलाइन हिंदी साहित्यिक पत्रिका ‘भारत-दर्शन’ में प्रकाशित हुई।

इसके अतिरिक्त अपने छात्रों को विभिन्न पाठ्यक्रमेतर गतिविधियों जैसे कि वाद-विवाद, नाटक, भाषण, कविता आदि के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया है और छात्रों ने भी विद्यालय का नाम बखूबी रोशन किया है। अपने विद्यालय में शिक्षण कार्यों के अतिरिक्त मैंने चार वर्षों तक माध्यमिक और सेकंडेरी स्तर पर Exam Cell का कार्यभार संभाला है और पिछले दस वर्षों से विद्यालय का सोलन कार्य और पिछले 5 वर्षों से बाल भारती के सभी विद्यालयों के सोलन Coordinator का कार्यभार संभाल रही हूँ। इसके साथ ही CES के ‘विद्या-उत्सव’ (दो वर्ष) और इन NPSC (तीन वर्ष) के लिए मंच- संचालन का कार्यभार संभाला है। इस कला को उत्कृष्ट बनाने के लिए मैं अपने विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्या महोदया की आभारी हूँ और अपने बच्चों में इसे निखारने के लिए प्रयासरत हूँ। भविष्य में भी अपने सदप्रयास जारी रखने के लिए मैं प्रणबद्ध भी हूँ।

During the pandemic, I took initiative to learn and develop online teaching aids such as PowerPoint presentations (PPTs) and Geogebra to make virtual teaching more effective and interactive. To support students' learning, I prepared chapter-wise PPTs for Class X Mathematics, some of which have been recognized and published on the CBSE Diksha Portal under VidyaDaan Programe. Additionally, I have been an active and dedicated member of my school's Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) team. I have guided students for idea submission for the
prestigious ATL Marathon. My team’s recent submission- AGRO INNOVATE was recognized and shortlisted for the next level—the E-Pitching Round.
