Not Just an Installation, but a Prayer in People and Colour
On 26 September 2025, during the GBM and NPSC elections, the school courtyard transformed into a space of devotion and artistry. Students of Classes VIII and IX came together to celebrate the spirit of Durga through a vibrant art installation — a living prayer woven in colour, texture, and teamwork.
Packaging thermocol, paper, and acrylic paints became their tools of expression, as creativity merged with faith. The installation resonated with both traditional grace and modern imagination, reflecting how young minds interpret the essence of Navratri — courage, purity, and renewal.
It was not just an artwork; it was a heartfelt offering,a prayer in people and colour, alive with rhythm, energy, and collective spirit.
Eco-Friendly Ganpati: Creativity from Waste
In an effort to celebrate traditions responsibly, students created Ganpati idols using waste and recycled materials. The activity not only nurtured their artistic expression but also emphasized the importance of sustainability and eco-conscious celebrations. By transforming everyday waste into meaningful art, students conveyed the message of protecting the environment while upholding cultural values.

As part of our efforts to encourage eco-conscious living, students designed and created magnetic bookmarks—a delightful, reusable alternative to paper-based or disposable page markers. These bookmarks are not only practical but also thoughtfully designed to minimize waste and encourage long-term usage.
What made this initiative truly special was the incorporation of Mandala art—an ancient form of intricate, symmetrical design that promotes mindfulness and artistic expression. Each student infused their bookmark with a unique mandala pattern, showcasing their creativity while also learning the calming and meditative qualities of this art form.
Through this hands-on activity, our students not only explored art and design but also engaged in thoughtful conversations about sustainability and conscious consumption.
