The celebration culminated in the National Handloom Day Exhibition 1.0 held on 19th August 2025. Together, both programmes beautifully reflected the theme “Threads of Tradition: Weaving Culture Through Handlooms.”

To promote this initiative, staff members will be dressed in handloom attire on 7th August 2025, thereby celebrating our rich Indian heritage. We also encourage parents to join this endeavor by wearing handloom on this special day, reflecting unity and our shared commitment to sustaining Indian traditions. This is also an opportunity to educate our children about the significance of handlooms, their role in empowering rural artisans, and how choosing handloom strengthens the Indian economy. The event began with the screening of a special video message from the Honourable Prime Minister, emphasizing the importance of handlooms in India’s economy and the government's efforts to revive this traditional craft. The screening provided valuable insights into the lives of weavers and the economic impact of their work.
Following the video, an engaging quiz on various handlooms of India was conducted, covering diverse fabrics, weaving techniques, and the regions they originate from. Students participated actively, showcasing their knowledge and enthusiasm for traditional crafts. The quiz not only educated the students but also instilled a sense of pride in India’s rich handloom heritage.
